FSU football had one of its worst years in most of our lifetimes in 2018. The bowl and consecutive winning seasons streak ended.
It was so bad the school known by most as “DBU” had one of its worst defensive seasons in over a decade.
The ‘Noles secondary gave up a record 30 passing touchdowns which ranked No. 123 nationally, and over 3,200 passing yards which ranked No. 103 in the nation.
One bright spot was the Noles only allowed 54 percent of the passes attempted to be completed which ranked No. 19.
However, the problem was the Noles were dead last in the number of passes attempted per game at 37.
