Florida State has surprised everyone with its fast start to the 2025 season. The Noles dominated No. 8 Alabama 31-17 and destroyed East Texas A&M 77-3.
These rankings don’t mean much this early, but FSU has gone from unranked to No. 14 to No. 10 after two weeks. The only benefit it provides is if FSU continues to win, they’ll have a great seeding for the College Football Playoff.
Do you know how crazy it feels to type that after going 2-10 last year? I thought FSU would have a strong start to the season, but beating Alabama in the fashion they did changes expectations quite a bit.
