FSU football hasn’t beaten the Clemson Tigers since the 2014 season with Sean Maguire lead the Noles to a victory as Jameis Winston was in street clothes on the sidelines.
That’s a long time ago folks, but the 2015 and 2016 games between the two programs were extremely close with FSU having a chance to win both of them.
In fact, FSU would have won the 2016 game if not for a bogus phantom call by the guys in stripes.
Nevertheless, the 2017 and 2018 games were absolute train wrecks. True freshman James Blackman led the Noles against the Tigers in Death Valley in 2017.
