For the first two minutes and 50 seconds of the annual battle between FSU football and the Clemson Tigers on Saturday, the Seminoles held the defending national champs scoreless and continued to have hopes that they would be able to possibly shock the world and break the Tigers’ win streak.
But then, Clemson scored…and scored…and scored more to the point where by the time the game was over, all that positive feeling that the Seminoles had when they left Tallahassee was gone away with a 45-14 loss that further showed how much work the Noles have to do before they can even sniff a chance at getting back into ACC title contention.
