What started as a weekend of sadness in Tallahassee – the price that came with the FSU football team losing for a third straight season to the rival Miami Hurricanes – continued into days of chaos this week with the firing last Sunday of the team’s head coach of 21 games and the new search for his replacement.
The removal of Willie Taggart with three regular season games left did not just hoist assistant coach Odell Haggins back into the head coaching spot for the rest of this season, but also made them beyond important because of the fact that the Noles need to win two of their final three contests just to go bowling.
