While we are trapped in the world of the College Football Playoff system, fans of FSU football might wish that we go back to the old Bowl Championship System – of which the Seminoles took part in eight of the 16 seasons it was in place, including four times playing for the national title and twice coming home with the crown.
Both of those wins – the convincing victory over Virginia Tech and the come from behind win over Auburn just five years ago – came with plenty of memories that will stick with fans of the Seminoles for decades to come.
