FSU can make up for rough start at Thanksgiving basketball tournament

Not in Leonard Hamilton’s 19 previous seasons as head basketball coach at FSU have the Seminoles had such a horrific start. But it’s not just during Hamilton’s tenure.

The Seminoles’ 0-4 start to open the season is their worst in 63 years, tracing back to when FSU was 10-15 during the 1959-60 season. This is the 68th season in FSU basketball history.

“I feel like I’m in the middle of a storm, baby,” Hamilton said Monday after his team finally picked up its first victory of the season against Mercer.

So, for Hamilton and the ‘Noles, things are looking up.
