Florida State football already had its season-opening victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide on the gridiron by a score of 31-17 in Doak Campbell Stadium. It was a great moment with Seminole athletics to beat the powerhouse.
Florida State was hoping to do the same on the hardwood Thursday night versus Alabama in the debut of head basketball coach Luke Loucks. This was a squad heading into a new era after being led by longtime Leonard Hamilton.
All good things must come to an end eventually, but the fan base was excited to what the former Seminole had in store.
