Florida State (37-13, 17-10), the No. 2 seed in the ACC tournament for the first time since 2024, will take on the seventh-seeded Duke Blue Devils (37-18, 17-13) in the ACC quarterfinals on Friday in a 2024 ACC championship game rematch.
The Seminoles need a deep run in the conference tournament after a series loss to UNC last weekend put them on the outside looking in at a top-8 national seed in the NCAA tournament that begins next week.
However, this would not be the first time Link Jarrett’s team played themselves into a top-eight national seed, as a 3-1 tournament a season ago vaulted the Noles across the line in 2024.
