FSU baseball played well and earned a 6-3 victory in the opening game of their series at Miami. However, the Noles will be disappointed they came up short on Saturday in a 5-4 loss in a 10 inning game.
Sunday’s game was originally scheduled for 1:00 PM, then was moved to 12:00 PM… then moved back to 1:00 PM. The Noles were in a good spot with a 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning when the game came to an abrupt halt due to lightning.
The game was never resumed and because it didn’t reach the 5th inning it wasn’t an official game.
