FSU baseball proactively commits to new terms with Link Jarrett amid Tennessee opening

On Monday, Florida State Athletic Director Michael Alford faced scrutiny from FSU fans after issuing a statement supporting FSU football coach Mike Norvell through the end of the season.

Thursday, FSU announced that Michael Alford and FSU baseball head coach Link Jarrett had come to an agreement on new contract terms for Jarrett.

Jarrett originally signed a seven-year deal in 2022 when he came to FSU from Notre Dame. He signed a contract extension after the 2024 season with FSU, reaching the College World Series and amassing 49 wins.

However, FSU is being proactive with Tennessee head coach Tony Vitello taking the San Francisco Giants manager position.
