On paper entering this weekend’s baseball series with Wake Forest, one would think FSU baseball would have the clear advantage and be able to leave the state of North Carolina with an important ACC series win.
But, as this weekend proved, that’s why the game isn’t played on paper as the Demon Deacons jumped out early for a second game this weekend and came out on top with a 4-2 win Sunday to take two of the three games over the Seminoles.
FSU baseball would get on the board in the top of the first inning thanks to a fielders choice:
Walls plates the first run of the game on a fielder’s choice by Lueck as FSU assumes 1-0 lead at the end of the first.
