FSU baseball celebrates one of the best transfer portal classes nationally

FSU baseball ended its season just short of reaching the College World Series for the second straight year and lost another crop of talented players in the MLB Draft. FSU tied a record with 11 players drafted, several of whom came to FSU via the transfer portal.

Link Jarrett has some key homegrown players returning, like Myles Bailey, Cal Fisher, Hunter Carns, Payton Manca, and others. However, the transfer portal recruiting is a huge part of college baseball, much like college football, and Jarrett has done an outstanding job of building rosters over the past two seasons.

That work started shortly after the season ended, and Jarrett knew there was a premium on pitching in the portal.
