The next chapter for numerous Florida State baseball players begins this week as the two-day MLB Draft starts on Sunday, with the first three rounds scheduled to commence at 6:00 p.m. FSU’s professional class is headlined by LHP Jamie Arnold, who should be selected in the first half of round one, and SS Alex Lodise, who could be a late first-round selection or a second-round pick.
After eight selections in the MLB Draft a year ago, FSU has a chance to exceed that number in 2025. RHP Cam Leiter, OF Max Williams, IF Drew Faurot, OF Gage Harrelson, RHP Peyton Prescott and LHP Joey Volini could all go in the first 10 rounds of the draft, along with other veterans expected to be picked later in the day on Monday.
