Florida State went to the West Coast as -18.5 betting favorites and lost 20-13 outright to a Stanford team with one win over a Power Four opponent.
The offense was non-existent, only scoring one touchdown in the game. FSU only managed to score a field goal in the second half. As bad as the defense has been in recent weeks, it was the offense that was to blame in this one.
Thomas Castellanos was 14 of 28 with several attempts that were off target and fairly ineffective as a runner. FSU went three-and-out on both possessions in the third quarter and had two turnovers on downs in the fourth quarter.
