FSU football could use Brian Burns in the 2019 season, but when you’re a guaranteed first round pick you have to enter the NFL Draft.
Burns was selected by the Carolina Panthers with the No. 16 overall pick. He’s one of the few remaining first round draftees to remain unsigned.
His contract is likely to be in the 13.5 million dollar range for four years with a fifth year option. He’s expected to have a signing bonus of 7.8 million dollars.
The Noles have had five first round draft picks since 2015 and all have signed with no problems prior to camp starting.
