FSU Alums: Cal Raleigh is playing lights out in minor leagues

Former FSU baseball player Cal Raleigh is in what athletes call the zone. The zone usually lasts for a game or two of when a player is supremely focused and confident with the results to back it up.

Raleigh has been in the zone for nearly a month while playing Class A(Advanced) ball for the Modesto Nuts of the Seattle Mariner’s farm system.

He was drafted in the third round of the 2018 MLB Draft (No. 90 overall) after a All-American and All-ACC 2018 season..

Raleigh had a good rookie season batting .288 with eight home runs and 29 RBI’s in 38 games in 2018.
