Florida State football wants to build its offensive and defensive trenches in the portal, just like the arch-rival Miami Hurricanes have accomplished. Head football coach Mike Norvell and this administration want to get Florida State back to the top again, and this is how you do it.
Offensive line coach Herb Hand has been such a refreshing assistant who has developed a group that has struggled for the Seminoles for years (for the most part). Even though all of his starters were seniors, he is looking to reload nicely.
He has already grabbed offensive linemen in the portal, such as Purdue's Bradyn Joiner, Auburn's Xavier Chaplin, Troy's Paul Bowling, and Bowling Green's Nate Pabst.
