Florida State softball’s Michaela Edenfield drafted to AUSL Volts; will team up with fellow Seminole this summer

You won’t be seeing the last of Michaela Edenfield once she graduates from the Garnet and Gold. On Saturday, the Florida State catcher was officially drafted to the Athletes Unlimited Softball League.

On Wednesday, Area 51 received the last Golden Ticket, which ensured 12 seniors across the country would be playing professional softball.

Edenfield was drafted 8th overall and in the 2nd round to the Volts. The Volts draft class rounded out with Sam Landry (Oklahoma) and Daneica Coffey (LSU).
