The summer months are upon us, and that means official visit season has arrived in the new, sped-up recruiting calendar. June has quickly become on of the hottest months of the recruiting calendar, which aligns fairly well to how Florida State and coach Mike Norvell have operated in the past. I wrote about the significance of June and July for Norvell’s recruiting approach back in 2023. To add to that data, in both 2023 and 2024, FSU earned nine commitments in those two months. That raised the average number of verbal commitments in June and July to 8.
