Florida State misses on blue-chip quarterback Lance LeGendre

Blue-chip quarterback Lance LeGendre has chosen to sign with the Univeristy of Maryland instead of Florida State.

The 4-star, dual-threat prospect from Warren Easton High School in New Orleans, LA was a high priority for head coach Willie Taggart, who is yet to sign a high school quarterback during his tenure in Tallahassee.

LeGendre is listed at 6’2 and 205 lbs. He is considered to be an excellent athlete and put up impressive numbers against some stiff competition in the tough New Orleans division of Louisiana high school football. LeGendre was coming off of shoulder surgery in the offseason, but he seemed to bounce back in convincing fashion.
