The Florida State Seminoles got some good news this evening, as they were able to secure a commitment from the transfer portal. Formerly committed to Purdue, 6’2”, 250 lb defensive end graduate transfer Marcus Cushnie has decided to spend his last two years of eligibility wearing garnet and gold.
Cushnie previously played at Alabama A&M, where he was considered one of the best pass rushers at the FCS level. He played linebacker during his first two seasons, racking up 27 tackles (13 TFL), eight QB hurries, seven sacks, and two forced fumbles.
