Florida State football, recruiting news: FSU gets a much-needed bye ahead of rivalry week

Florida State and Florida are both on a bye this week, giving both teams ample time to prepare for each other. As they prepare for the regular season finale, FSU players and coaches spoke to the media on Tuesday:

FSU OC Kendal Briles laughingly answered whether or not he would be interested in the head coaching job at FSU at the end of his interview. In short, of course he would, but right now he is focused on this week’s practices and prepping for the Gators.

And FSU DC Harlon Barnett touched on the defense’s recent coaching additions with Jim Leavitt and Mario Edwards assuming on-field roles.
