ESPN has released its initial 2021 FPI rankings and it projects FSU as the 41st best team in America with a win projection of 6.1 games.
If they can beat a young but reloading Notre Dame team at home that could significantly increase their projections.

That will change in 2021, as these two teams meet in the only game slated for Sunday night in a Labor Day weekend showdown. Notre Dame has won at least 10 games in each of the last four years, but coach Brian Kelly has a busy offseason ahead.
