-Jamie Newberg of Scout released a list of what he considers the best college football teams of all time and FSU is the only program with multiple squads included as the '93 and '13 teams were included on the list.

This team also featured Warrick Dunn,Derrick Brooks, Tamarick Vanover, Kez McCorvey, William Floyd, Clifton Abraham,Corey Sawyer, Devin Bush, and others. The offense got all the publicity but this defense was outstanding. This unit posted four shutouts and held three other teams to seven points or less.
