Florida State football, recruiting news: 2020 class adds another elite RB commit

Florida State’s hot streak of commits continued on Wednesday, with blue-chip running back Lawrance Toafili of Pinellas Park being the latest prospect to announce his intentions of suiting up in Tallahassee.

A four-star prospect and a top-10 running back nationally, Toafili registered 1,434 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns last season and will be the first player from Pinellas Park to play for Florida State.

Boise State had their first practice day in pads, and are still looking for a starting quarterback. They’ve also added cornerback Ozziah Williams, a JUCO player who initially enrolled at Western Kentucky before transferring, though it hasn’t been determined if he’ll be eligible to play this season.
