Florida State has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country for the 2016 cycle, but Jimbo Fisher and staff aren't taking their foot off the gas pedal. Several elite level visitors are checking out the campus this weekend.
The most notable is 2018 QB Joey Gatewood, of Jacksonville (Fla.) Bartram Trail. Gatewood is on campus Saturday morning. This QB is widely considered the top QB in the state for the 2018 class, though it is early, and sources expect him to commit to Florida State before his sophomore season begins. He does plan to visit Auburn before making a decision.
