Florida State Seminoles football is back to the practice field after taking yesterday off.
That, of course, is the assumption at time of writing — we’ve seen several college football teams join athletes across professional sports in postponing games and practices as they deal with the emotional fallout of the shooting of James Blake. Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell issued a statement last night in support of the movement, and it’s likely to be something he addresses in some capacity during today’s availability.
Social unrest aside, when we last checked in with the team on Wednesday, Norvell was continuing to express optimism in the offense and its growth, who reportedly had struggled in last week’s scrimmage due to negative plays from self-inflicted mistakes.
