Florida State cornerback Tarvarus McFadden's pick gives Seminoles a boost

RALEIGH, N.C. — FSU cornerback Tarvarus McFadden made a key interception during the Wolfpack's opening drive, halting NC State's methodical progress.

The interception was McFadden's seventh of the season, the most in the nation, and marked his fourth consecutive game with a pick. Additionally, McFadden's seven interceptions ties him for fourth most in a single season in program history and is the most since Samari Rolle had seven in 1997.

With McFadden's pick, FSU improved to 12 interceptions this season, far surpassing the eight the Seminoles had a season ago.
