Florida State baseball (38-13, 17-10) will face North Carolina (40-12, 18-11) in the ACC semifinal on Saturday in Durham, NC. The winner will advance to the ACC tournament final on Sunday. Saturday will be the fourth meeting between the two teams in the last seven days, after the Tar Heels took the series last weekend, two games to one.
FSU mashed their way to a quarterfinal win on Friday, 14-7, with 14 runs on 18 hits, led by Myles Bailey’s 4-for-5 day with two home runs. The Noles plated eight runs in the third inning and never let Duke back into the game to glide into the semi-final.
