Florida State football is trying to get the best possible players in the transfer portal, so they can put the last two years in the past. Head football coach Mike Norvell and his squad want to see it translate to wins on the field.
The problem is that the quarterback transfer has not been kind to them over the past two cycles, with DJ Uiagalelei and Thomas Castellanos. Don't get me wrong, Castellanos stood on business and defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide in Week 1, but other than that, it was a mixed bag of results.
However, Coach Norvell is trying to turn that around this time, as the Seminoles hosted several quarterback transfers over the past couple of days with UNLV's Anthony Colandrea, Florida's DJ Lagway, and Auburn's Ashton Daniels.
