The Florida State football fan base already has a firsthand experience with ESPN, as the Seminoles were left out of the 4-team College Football Playoff in 2023 in favor of the one-loss SEC darling Alabama.
This was where the Florida State faithful started to realize that there was an agenda, and the Seminoles were not part of the equation. It didn't have anything to do with quarterback Jordan Travis being injured. This was simply because of the conference affiliations and money.
This was frustrating to see on that dreaded Sunday because Florida State put their blood, sweat, and tears into a rewarding season where they won all of their games, and were still left out of the College Football Playoff.
