Florida State football was one of the worst rushing totals, with 89.9 rushing yards per game last season. The fan base has to be happy as the Seminoles have accumulated 295.5 rushing yards per contest in 2025, which is a massive improvement.
Everyone should have seen this coming after Florida State picked up former UCF head football coach Gus Malzahn to be their offensive coordinator this offseason. His offenses have been known to utilize the inside run scheme to build a physical brand of football.
The Seminoles have a tremendous haul in the 2026 recruiting cycle, but they don't have a running back prospect in the fold after four-star Amari Thomas elected to pledge to South Carolina.
