Florida State's defense has not been ideal this season under new defensive coordinator Tony White. Much of that had to do with the fact that the Seminoles are adjusting to the multiple 3-3-5 scheme that they have never run before.
The Seminoles lost to North Carolina State this Friday night by a score of 21-11, where the Wolfpack had 286 total yards. The defeat was not primarily on the defense. The other side of the football on offense has let the team down by not finishing drives.
With that said, Coach White has an opportunity to finish the regular season on a high note with a victory over the arch-rival Florida Gators this Saturday afternoon.
