Dalvin Cook continues climb up Florida State record books

TALLAHASSEE — Early in FSU's 37-35 loss to North Carolina, Dalvin Cook passed Travis Minor and took over as the third-leading rusher in school history.

It marked the second consecutive game Cook moved up a spot on the FSU all-time rushing leaderboard, previously becoming Florida State's fourth-leading rusher last Saturday against USF when he passed Larry Key.

Cook finished the UNC game with 140 rushing yards along with 120 receiving yards and three rushing touchdowns, matching his single-game record for touchdowns and extending his career total to 3,334 rushing yards.

"[Cook] played outstanding," FSU coach Jimbo Fisher said after the loss.
