Blue-chip running back Amari Thomas decommits from FSU

Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles had quite a summer in terms of adding commitments to Tribe26, but today brings word that one prospect is no longer in the fold. Per his own social media post, local running back Amari Thomas has decommitted from FSU and will likely land with the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Thomas is a 5’10”, 185 running back who will play his senior season for Blountstown after attending Marianna his first three years. He is a composite 4-star player and boasts a highly productive high school career so far, amassing over 3,100 yards and 56 touchdowns in two seasons.
