Marcus Fleming is from Miami. He committed to Miami. But he’s not going to wind up at Miami.
Fleming, a four-star receiver from Northwestern High School, released his top five last night, and the Hurricanes, from whom he decommitted on November 18, did not make the cut. Florida State did, along with Nebraska, Maryland, Georgia, and Florida.
A 2020 prospect, Fleming (5’ 9.5”, 160) will sign his letter of intent to one of those schools during December’s Early Signing Period. He’s the nation’s No. 42 WR, as well as the No. 42 player from the state of Florida.
