Another difference maker decides not to visit FSU after making plans to do it

Florida State went cheap at the quarterback position(once again) in the transfer portal, signing Auburn backup Ashton Daniels a few days ago. The thought was that FSU might have saved some money there that they can apply to other important positions, such as linebacker, defensive end, or on the offensive line.

FSU has added a few decent offensive linemen with some experience and eligibility remaining. That’s a positive, and they landed a former Texas running back who could be a difference-maker in 2026. We could argue they didn’t NEED to sign the running back.

Nevertheless, there was some excitement around the fanbase when the news broke that Pittsburgh starting linebacker Rasheem Biles would visit.
