Shortstop and team captain Alex Lodise was named 2025 ACC Player of the Year on Monday, the second straight Seminole to take home the honors. Lodise hit .422 during the regular season with 17 home runs and 63 RBI while leading the conference in batting average, slugging percentage and hits. The junior SS became the 10th FSU player to win ACC Player of the Year and the second in consecutive years (James Tibbs). Lodise also earned ACC Defensive Player of the Year, the first Seminole to win the award with his .979 fielding percentage.
Lodise was named first-team All-ACC along with his teammates P Jamie Arnold and 2B Drew Faurot.
