Former four-star safety Conrad Hussey is no longer on the roster, a couple of weeks before the season opener against Alabama, according to Noles247.
This is a player whom I've written about several times regarding my surprise that they returned to the team after the 2024 season.
Hussey made a few plays as a freshman in 2023, but failed to make any progression as a player in 2024. Frankly, he regressed badly and didn't have a good attitude.
He battled some injuries this year, which ultimately continued to hinder his progress. However, he was one of the first players that came to mind when Tony White spoke on Monday following the second fall scrimmage about players who needed to "step their a** up.
