With just two weeks left to go in the regular season, the ACC football powers in charge now know at least one of the teams who will be in Charlotte to play for the conference title – while it’s still anyone’s guess who will be joining that team as the sacrificial lamb…I mean opponent come the first Saturday of December.
That was one of the man storylines from across the conference this past weekend – including why powers like FSU football, Miami and Virginia Tech have become the laughing stocks at this point as all three of them could end up staying home and not make a bowl game – the first time that would happen where any of the three wasn’t in the postseason since 1981.
