No. 5 Florida State (5-0, 3-0 ACC) took advantage of a 22-point first quarter to secure a 39-17 win over Virginia Tech.
It’s the first time under Mike Norvell, and first overall since 2015, the Seminoles are 5-0.
The game showcased both the explosive potential that Florida State wields and the issues that have popped up from time-to-time over the course of the 2023 season.
“They came out 22-nothing, lead in the first quarter. Second quarter, you had some adversity that you struck in a couple different ways,” Norvell said after the game.
