The top shooting guard in the 2019 recruiting class, Anthony Edwards now has more stars in his ranking than schools left on his ever-dwindling shortlist. And Florida State is one of them. Edwards (6’5, 215) attends Holy Sprit Preparatory School in Atlanta, GA and is the No. 1 ranked player coming out of Georgia, as well as the No. 2 overall player for this year’s recruiting class.
Last November, Edwards (AKA “Ant Man”) named his top eight, which included Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, North Carolina, and UCLA. About a month later, Edwards narrowed that list to five by axing Duke, Michigan State, and UCLA.
