So, is it any surprise that Florida State’s season ended the way that it did?
All year, the question marks were noticeable. The lineup had too many swings and misses. The order lacked one more significant bat to truly become a juggernaut. The Noles could beat good teams, but rarely the elite ones. And of course, the bullpen was a coin flip on every pitch.
Starting with Friday, which, while it was a catastrophe in Corvallis, should not be shocking.
