One day after jumping up a spot in the D1 Baseball rankings, the No. 4 Florida State Seminoles (8-0) travelled to Jacksonville University (4-4) for their first road game of the season. FSU came way with a 4-0 victory in what turned out to be a milestone game for the Seminoles’ starting pitcher.
- Andrew Karp (2-0; 0.00) was tremendous for the ’Noles. The junior right-hander struck out a career-high 12 Dolphins hitters. His previous high (11 K’s) came against the Florida Gators on March 14, 2017. He’s tied for fifth in the nation with his 20-to-1 K/BB ratio.
