Mike Norvell and Chris Thomsen are no strangers to recruiting and landing blue-chip tight ends. Today, the Florida State Seminoles added another one to their 2026 recruiting class. Xavier Tiller is the newest member of Tribe26, choosing the Seminoles over fellow finalists, the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Auburn Tigers.
Tiller is a 6-foot-4, 212-pound tight end from Fairburn, Georgia. He racked up 35 offers and in addition to both Alabama schools, FSU also beat out the Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Kentucky Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, Ohio State Buckeyes, Ole Miss Rebels, Oregon Ducks, Penn State Nittany Lions, South Carolina Gamecocks, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas Longhorns, Texas A&M Aggies, USC Trojans, and Wisconsin Badgers.
