The 5 best bars to visit when celebrating a Florida State win

Tallahassee, FL. has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. There are only three months in the entire year where the average high is below 70, and one of those is winter break in Cancun anyways.

You can find each of the 5 best bars in Tallahassee on - or right next to - "The Strip" on Tennessee St., just northeast of campus. Check out any one of these and you're sure to find awesome drink specials, good times and maybe even a bikini contest. Here are our top 5 bars to visit when celebrating a Florida State Seminoles win.

1. A.J. Sports Bar

It almost impossible to pick a winner between A.J.'s and Bullwinkle's (below). One glance at A.J.'s twitter page tells you all you need to know about the place.

They have $1 draft brew specials and $10 all-you-can-eat wings. Boom. Oh yeah, there's also a bikini contest. Bullwinkle's has one too, but A.J.'s is hotter. Period.

2. Bullwinkle's Saloon

Much like A.J.'s, Bullwinkle's has amazing drink specials ($10. All. You. Can. Drink - Yikes.) and the original bikini contest.

It's the quintessential Tallahassee college bar, and they don't even try to pretend to be anything else. You know you're in a college bar when there's so much something on the ground you can hardly lift your feet up. That's Bullwinkle's.

620 W Tennessee St, Tallahassee, FL 32304

3. Potbelly's

If there is one thing that sets the Tallahassee bar scene apart, it's that every bar not only has drink specials - but actually good ones.

Two-dollar-Tuesdays and $4 pitchers put Potbelly's right up there with the best. A few blocks from The Strip "proper," so to speak, Potbelly's is actually closer to campus, making this the perfect spot for some day-drinking.

459 West College Ave., Tallahassee, Florida 32301

4. Gordo's Cuban

The only thing that could be remotely classified as a "restaurant" on this list, the food comes second after the full bar. It's less than a mile from campus and even closer to Doak Campbell Stadium, making it the perfect spot to pregame the game or your trip to The Strip.

Maybe you'll even have some dinner while you're there. Maybe.

1907 W Pensacola St. Tallahassee, FL 32304

5. Bird's Aphrodisiac Oyster Shack

We don't really care if Bird's wants to bill itself as a restaurant...we're willing to bet not one person in history has gone there with the express purpose of ordering food and food alone.

$1 PBR's and some damn strong drinks will make sure of that. If you're hungry, sure, grab a burger, that's good too...but you don't need to be hungry to stop in at Bird's.

325 N Bronough St. Tallahassee, FL 32301
