According to the Sun Sentinel's Harvey Fialkov, the Florida Panthers have signed skilled forward Denis Malgin to an entry-level contract.

Malgin spent most of last season with the ZSC Lions in Switzerland's National League A That's the same team phenom Auston Matthews played for, by the way. The undersized Cats' prospect put up 5 goals and 12 assists in 38 games for Zurich.
