The Panthers earn a franchise record 99 points with three games to go in the regular season with a 4-3 win over the Maple Leafs in Toronto on Monday night.
Rocco Grimaldi (2, 3) led the way with two goals within two and a half minutes in the second period for the Panthers. Aleksander Barkov (27) and Nick Bjugstad (14) also lit the lamp for the Cats. Reilly Smith (24, 25) earned two assists, leaving him just one short of the 50 point mark. That would make him the sixth Panther to hit that mark this season.
