CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today that Mike Kennedy has been named Director of Hockey Operations for the Florida Panthers IceDen.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Mike to our organization,” said Florida Panthers IceDen Vice President, General Manager and Florida JR Panthers President Jeff Campol. “I’m confident that Mike’s knowledge of the game, leadership and pro hockey experience will help establish a new era of growth and success for the Florida Panthers IceDen.”
Kennedy, 43, has over 15 years of professional hockey experience, playing in 145 National Hockey League games for the Dallas Stars (1994-98), Toronto Maple Leafs (1997-98) and New York Islanders (1998-99).
